I respect their preservation of Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage's dream community. Or modern Garden City. And from what I've been told by old-timers about when it went dilapidated in the '70s and 2000s, parts were almost condemned, they came to the rescue and especially rejuvenated Station Square which looks brand new, The way it was intended. Speaking of which, The Russell Sage foundation intended Forest Hills Gardens to be affordable housing for low income God-fearing educated people. Like me! And that vision has been desecrated by The self-serving obnoxious snobs that permeate throughout this office. Sir Ebenezer Howard is turning over in his grave like a Boston market rotisserie chicken on the corner of Continental and Austin. The newbies to this neighborhood don't even respect what the West side Tennis club contributed to the legacy and history of a wondrous divine ethereal neighborhood. At first their offices were in Central Park but they couldn't afford the rent so they went to the more affordable neighborhood Forest Hills Gardens. Do you hear me?!?! These Gardens newbies are disgusted by the very concerts that brought supreme Glory to the neighborhood. Anyway Forest Hills Gardens needs fresh new blood, I'd love to live on Dartmouth and 69th right across from the stadium where the Beatles played historically in 1964, when a helicopter landed in Forest Hills Stadium And then they stayed in the former Forest Hills Inn, now the Station Square Inn co-op. And I wouldn't doubt She Came in through the bathroom window. And I'll challenge every single one of the Forest Hills Gardens Corporation's snobs to a quizlet about the rich history of Forest Hills Gardens. Even with half a brain, I bet I resoundingly beat you, even if I give you a Head start. I believe Fred Olmstead Jr and Grosvenor Atterbury would appreciate your efforts to preserve their sublime legacy. But in making it exclusive, you have driven people out like me who are so passionate about the history of my gardens that it has become my ministry. And society at large, just like the Gardens has become so lawless. Young teenagers walk throughout the gardend smoking pot and brazenly blowing it in my face. This is coming from someone who fought to bring trader Joe's and fresh organic products and produce to a community, which was truly deserving. I even saw someone on the private streets of the Gardens without a parking paermit, brazenly using a blowtorch in broad daylight to melt the boot off of his car. When I reported it to the 112th, they told me to mind my business. Lmfaoo

Beautiful place to go see

The FHGC attempts to provide nice living conditions in the neighborhood but ignores its residents, removes crucial services without warning, and does not respond to emails or phone calls. Terrible service.

An oasis in a frenzied sea ...

Love it

While the Gardens is a beautiful well kept community, the people who run the Forest Hills Garden Corp are extremely rude, and disrespectful to the members of the community they serve. On multiple occasions I have had to place calls to the main office and have spoken to representatives (and supervisors) who do not want to take the time to answer questions. I have even been yelled at over the phone and interrupted when voicing concerns. It is frustrating and concerning to feel that your Gardens fees are not being used to create an office that supports the people who live in this community. I wish there was someone to contact about how the office is being managed and they way that they speak to people. I would love to see some change happen! The Gardens Corporation needs to seriously take a look at who they have on staff in the office!

Beautiful, well-kept, well-administered community.
