Sushi Box De Waterkant

Ordered on Ubereats - the food was fantastic, and as good as the newlands branch. The sushi fiend gave it 5* and devoured it.

The food may look expensive when compared to other options, but it is most definitely worth it.

I stopped by for lunch takeaway. It was my first time trying the place and to be honest, I was a little hesitant after seeing the recent reviews. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with warming, welcoming smiles from the entire staff. The waitress was so polite and made the experience of taking my order feel special even though it was just a brief encounter. The packaging of my sushi was superb and the food itself was high quality and delicious! Hands down, this was the best sushi I’ve had in my entire month visiting Cape Town. I highly recommend this Sushi Box location. (I’d add pictures but the food was so good I forgot 😩🥹)

Food is good but vibe is weird. Kind of ghost town-ish, which is odd considering what a tiny spot it is. All the staff just stare at you the whole time. Drinks options are incredibly limited and no alcohol is served.

Ordered for a specific time as you can do on the website. Sushi wasn't even close to ready and had to wait for ages even though the order had been placed and paid for well in advance. They weren't busy at all. Not excusable. The sushi is good, but at the price point they should get this right

It is a great Sushi restaurant. Excellent food, friendly staff. We went there every night, 3 days in a row as the kids (and we) did not want to go elsewhere. So, on day 3 the staff already knew our order by heart! Great place, great Sushi, great people ;-)

Yeah as the other reviews get at its a really good sushi place. You have to come here in the mindset of wanting sushi obviously and it will deliver just right. Friendly staff, good sushi, nice space, 5 stars.
