My go-to spot ever since a friend put me onto this gem a couple years ago. Great cuts and dye jobs at a good price.
Mei (the owner) listens to what you want and delivers. It's the sort of place where you get a genuine opinion about what will and won't work with your hair. And she doesn't give me any grief when I wait too long between appointments and let my hair get ridiculous, which I really appreciate. 💕
Just to address some of the negative comments: you're right that answering phones or walk-in customers isn't really their top priority. They don't have a receptionist and they prioritize the person sitting in the chair. I actually really value that, because I've been to places where the person cutting your hair stops every 3 minutes to answer the phone, and that isn't fun. They could hire a receptionist, but then their prices would go up.
So, call and leave a message and someone will call you back. Book an appointment and you'll be all sorted.

Asked for a pixie, came out with a helmet. After the high of getting The Big Chop wore off, the five stages of grief settled in and I spent ~twenty minutes laughing hysterically at myself in the bathroom mirror when I got home. It's quite the experience to be able to simultaneously look like a new born baby, a very polite little private school boy, and a mother of four under five who wants her kids to stop ripping out her hair all at once. Staff were lovely, end result not so much. I would say you've got to really know what you want but the words that passed between the hairdresser and I were 'wispy', 'texturised' and 'leave some weight on the bottom', so that might not be the case. Unrelated to the hair itself but I'd left my hoodie on the floor by the chair and no one bothered to move it or ask me to move it so the hairdresser was cutting hair all over my hoodie which is kind of insane to me lmao???

I have seen Jayden twice and he understands what style I like. He is a talented hair stylist and would I highly recommend Jayden. All the staff are friendly at Bobs.

My friend recommended this place to me. Not sure why as they ignored me and gave me weird looks. One of the staff members seemed reluctant to do her job. She eventually (and slowly) came over, and said, "what do you want??" (after avoiding me for a few minutea) and was not happy that I was there at all. She only became nicer when her friend came over.
I decided to leave since they didn't want to help me and were unprofessionally rude when I asked them a question.
I immediately went to the hairdressers across the street and they were 1000x more friendly and accommodating.

Mei was fantastic! They were welcoming, attentive, and I love my hair! BOB will definitely be my go-to, and it's fairly priced as well. Highly recommend
