Flemish Fries Snackland

This fry stand is pretty good! There wasn’t too much of a crowd during the times that we passed by so we decided to try it one night when the other place down the street was extremely backed up. The service here was a little spotty and we ended up getting something we didn’t order. That said, what we got was still really good and we did enjoy it. The fries were cooked a little longer than other Flemish Fries establishments so if you like yours a little crispier this might be the place for you.

Saw a decent number of people crowd near the store, so was intrigued to try their fries and sauce. To my surprise, I was delighted by the experience. The flemish fries are perfectly cooked, has a great texture and retains the crunch after every bite. The highlight for me were their wide range of sauces. I chose the garlic mayo and it was great. On the flip side, my friends decided to have the famous "cheese sauce". It was a disappointment. They had to throw away the fries :( It was cold and tasted bad. I'd recommend the garlic mayo, truffle mayo and joppi sauce!

P.S I took a small portion (kleine) and was surprised to see the portion size!

Very good fries with a wide variety of sauces to choose from, some tasty sides like the cheese croquettes and the chicken burger, and right portions. Good prices and good location. Worth trying!

We come Benelux tour in Holland. We saw potatoes and waited cash desk. Potatoes very big and so tasty but it need little more salt. I wood recommend.

Conveniently located and difficult to miss hotspot for fries! We got a medium sized cone to share among two people, with peanut sauce. The fries were served quickly in a classic paper cone, and the warm peanut sauce was generously added. Overall, I feel like the fries themselves were just okay. Maybe it was just the day we went, but they didn't taste super fresh and weren't as crispy on the outside/soft on the inside as we thought they would be, based on the other reviews here. The servers were super friendly, though - the staff happily switched to English and were patient with the huge line. The peanut sauce was an absolute knockout and definitely a must-try if you like peanut flavours/peanut butter, it was the perfect balance of sweet and savoury, with a little spicy (but not too spicy!) kick at the end.

It looks like a popular place on the street, very close to the Dam square. I didn't wait too long, I was there on a Sunday evening. I just wish the service person was a little more friendly. Apart from that, it was a fast and warm service. The potatoes were in the consistency and I only preferred ketchup sauce. Even the small size is very satisfying, I could never finish a larger portion.
