Me and my Fiancé went there for our anniversary and the food was gourmet! The sushi roll and beef teriyaki dinner we ordered was so fresh and so tasty, music and atmosphere was amazing, all for an affordable price. Thank you so much for your service and hats off to the cooks!

All you can eat is great! Adult price is as expected. Little pricey for kids if your kids don't eat much, however worth the experience. Great food, really friendly staff and the robot waiters is an awesome experience especially for kids. Recommend checking this place out!

I absolutely loved our meal at Sushi Island. The staff were lovely and our waiter explained the tablet system so we could order directly from the table. Everything was clear and worked perfectly. I was impressed with how much we could customize everything we ordered, right down to "less salt" on the edamame. Of course the big draw was the kitty robot that delivered our food, but even more importantly, the sushi itself was fresh and delicious. We split the $40.99 combo among two people and there was plenty of food to go around. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

The food is absolutely delicious and, in all seriousness, I have to say that it’s the best service I’ve ever received at any restaurant. The staff members are so nice and they all seem very genuine. Service happens ridiculously quickly. Like, I cannot stress this enough, even during rush hour, I don’t think we’ve ever waited more than around 10 minutes for our food. My mother and I go fairly frequently, admittedly to the point that we get recognized by most. The quality of the food is consistant and the prices are amazing. We always get the $40 combo thing they offer and honestly, it’s such a steal that it feels criminal. You get two drinks (pop), two extra sauces, four appetizer-like things (soup and salad), four rolls of sushi, and three side dishes. They offer complimentary ice cream at the end of your meal if it’s available and ginger and wasabi are both free as well. The combo feeds 2-3 people. Also, they have robotic cats that bring you food and, I promise, seeing them and getting to pet the robocat is enough to make grown adults squeal like children. It’s seriously so fun. The ordering is done digitally and the robocats are able to communicate in a myriad of languages as well, which I assume should be good for non-native English speakers or just non-speakers, period. The atmosphere is wonderful and the walls are covered in beautiful murals. I know this review sounds like I’m being paid to write this but I’m genuinely not, I just love it that much. I have literally nothing to say about the place except for glowing praise. If you’re in the St. John’s area and you like sushi or would like to try it, I’d highly recommend you go.

Food was delicious, it was served within 5-10 minutes. There are so many options and almost all dishes are customisable.
Place is not very cozy and comfortable for me.
To observe robot is its own experience. Though not sure do we still pay tips if we were served by robot?!?!

My husband and I did the All You Can Eat at Sushi Island and it was decent overall! The All You Can Eat menu is great if you want to try different dishes. They do charge for sushi and dishes not finished (2$/roll, 7$/plate for a dish) but will let you take it home.

The fried wontons were a little overcooked and lacking filling. The sushi rolls were not cut evenly, but the food was fresh and rice was sticky.

We wanted to order sashimi, but didn't see it on the menu during lunch (12:00pm). It did appear to be sold later in the day.

Service was good. They do have "server" robots that bring your food to you. The server we had did some around to check on us a few times as well.
