I like the vibe beautifully decorated. The menu is big so much to choose from unfortunately they had no mocktails that would suit the vibe for people that don’t drink. The food is okay and so are the portions it’s an easy going restaurant. The food is bit plain and the calamari I had was to hard. If you want too take the left over food you need to do it yourself that a minus

Best Thai food I’ve ever had.
I always order squid when i see it on a menu and I wasn’t disappointed. It was delicious.
I had a red curry dish and pad Thai dish as well. Both dishes were also delicious.

I was sad to hear they didn’t offer desserts but that’s not the end of the world.

I have dined at Thai Restaurant Bangkok several times, and it never disappoints. The restaurant is situated in a prime location in Amsterdam. The consistency in delicious Thai cuisine, coupled with a pleasant ambiance, makes it a go to spot. The service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend the Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Yellow Curry, Green Curry, and the Crispy Beef in Oyster Sauce. The outdoor terrace adds a charming touch, and their extensive menu offers a wide array of great dishes. If you're craving Thai, this place is a good choice.

You're served quickly and it's clear that it's because they want you to leave as quickly as possible. So on the plus side you don't wait to eat, on the minus side you feel really pushed out the door. The food is quite good, nothing special, we were satisfied. Alas, because of this feeling of being pushed out (there were three of us and we stayed less than 50 minutes, so I don't feel we wanted to overstay our welcome), we felt it was a bit expensive for the whole experience. I also would like to note that one waiter was nice, the other one pushy - a bit of a good cop/ bad cop approach.

Visited Bangkok tonight for the first time and I couldn’t run fast enough to share my thoughts on my experience :/

At first impression you walk into a restaurant that gives off a cozy, warm and beautiful atmosphere. While admiring the restaurant you realise you’ve been standing there for 15 minutes beyond your reservation time. My friend being that of German descent, adhering to strict schedules ofcourse does not appreciate having to stand around waiting to be seated after having made a reservation hours prior.

The food is pricy for the small portions, and to be honest, not that fantastic. I’m a total fan of Thai and Asian, so I know what’s good. NOT EVEN an hour later we are served up a bill we didn’t even ask for. Who’s to say we didn’t want dessert or a coffee???

We refuse this forceful method to have us leave and sit a while longer, trying to enjoy each others company since it’s been a while that we’ve seen one another. At this point I’m sad I went through the effort to select Bangkok out of ALL the available restaurants in Amsterdam. A few moments later, we’re asked once again to fess up and pay as apparently we were only allocated the table for 90 minutes. IN WHAT WORLD? Absolutely shocked to my core, I feel disgusted left with a bitter taste, hence my eagerness to write this review.

We’re forced out a third time after attempting one last time to make the most of our time (as well as seeing a few empty tables anyways). After this hostility we leave with pleasure, and will not return nor recommend to friends.
