Louisbourg Lighthouse

The road is narrow but the views are magnificent. You can see the Atlantic Ocean and take a long walk on the beautiful paths along the coast near the lighthouse.

Also, I visited in summer and it was not crowded. There is enough parking space and it is free.

You can see the fortress by distance and I highly recommend you to stop there too. If you have a Parks Canada Discovery Pass, you have the shuttle included with the ticket.

Breathtaking and beautiful! Would recommend making the trip out here to see this. Trails to hike but amazing just to wander around the lighthouse. Can get quite windy so dress warm. Also can get wet so bring good shoes that won’t get soaked.
