Nice place to visit and walk around. The hiking trail was closed and they are doing renovations on the light house so you can’t go up in it.

The photo opportunities around the lighthouse are stupendous! The lighthouse has a great history and makes a great photo too. We stopped for a picnic lunch in a great little park with tables and washrooms, just before the lighthouse.

Amazing place! The waves were spectacular we stayed there and watched for 30 minutes just being blown away by the wind and sheer power of them. Definitely go check this place out when it is windy and rainy! Unfortunately the walking trail has been washed away due to the hurricanes but still amazing nonetheless.

Great piece of history, fairly easy drive to get to with lots of parking and beautiful views of the ocean and Fortress Louisbourg across the bay

This is another beautiful spot not far from Sydney. The views are great with rugged coast line. You can go for walk along the trail, which is not tough and should be easy for all age and all skills levels and physical ability. You can watch the waves for hours and at times you may get massive waves crashing against the stoney coastline and sea stacks. Sun sits on the opposite side behind the lighthouse, so it must be a beautiful view if you can get there for sunrise. I would say bug spray is a must especially if there is no wind. Plenty of parking and though there is a gate, I have never seen it closed even well after the sunset and darkness.

Beautiful spot! The cliffs are really something amazing to look at - lots of sea birds to spot and crashing waves. The lighthouse itself was a bit of a let down - a good splash of paint and it could rival Peggy's Cove with its scenery.
