Hamad General Hospital

Its an absolutely fantastic hospital, quality services, expert professionals, fast services in short I highly rate the facility.

I am a cancer patient, the medical care / surgery are excellent. But, the administration part getting from A-B is completly broken. It seems no one looks at your file. Hamad tells you to call the 16060. They give you multiple numbers to call, no one ever answers. This number was not at all helpful to me.

If I could give this place 0 Stars, I would!!! It’s Absolutely the worst Hospital I’ve ever been to. I went to the Emergency. Staff is rude and incompetent. I spent 4 hours there and never received any information on my results. I was asked to do an X-Ray and CT and when I went there they didn’t even know who I am and what was supposed to get done.
At CT i wasn’t even asked if I was allergic to the contrast like it’s usually done. My Medical history was disregarded entirely and was medication prescribed that I can’t take together with the medication I currently take. When asking for a Medical report I was told to come back tomorrow.
I wasn’t sure if I would leave this place alive at some point. Absolutely horrible

World class medical centre. A friend had an emergency and was treated perfectly.

I brought my mother here directly from Doha Airport she got strok and were well taking care of in Hamad General Hospital, one of the best Hospital I ever seen. The doctors, staff, nurses every single one was very cooperative they treated us very well. I definitely recommend this hospital for Heart or Neurological issues treatment.
May Allah bless every one how is part of this great organization. Especially the founders.

Today I take my Daughter to Naseem Al Rabeeh because she was inserted something in her Nose, but when they checked her they told that the foreign body in her nose is too far, we can't do anything please take her to Hamad Hospital As soon as possible, I went there, one of the Nurse give me Number and tell me to wait for my turn, I request her to make it earlier because my daughter is not feeling well. At the moment she went to the Doctor and tell him my situation, she came out and call us for checkup, I really appreciate her effort which she did for me.
Then Doctor ask about the problem, I told him the whole story, he pick up his mobile call to one of the senior ENT Doctor, After few minutes the Doctor was there. Then he told me very calmly that this is Not a big problem. And his this sentence was more than a life for me. And then he told me close her one nostril and leave the other one open , which is having foreign body, and put your mouth on your daughter's mouth and blow air in her mouth with full pressure. I did the same twice and the foreign body comes out😊 I was Extremely happy.

I went to the emergency room because I had a severe medical problem. They didn‘t allow my partner to come inside with me since it‘s a only women emergency room.
They let me wait for quite long even though I was in a lot of pain. They didn‘t take my symptoms seriously - which is why I didn‘t receive immediate treatment which would have been necessary in my case!
But apart from this delay I felt quite well treated, they checked everything and in the end I received the necessary treatment, just a bit late. They also gave me a follow-up appointment and did everything the way it would be done in my own country (Switzerland).
I really appreciated that the whole treatment was for free. Up to 2 days you don‘t have to pay anything as a tourist.
