No lo recomiendo es todo fraude,perdida de tiempo,dinero te piden que pagues,que vayas a charlas,entregues documentos y que esima lo pierden y te vuelven a pedir porque supuestamente no entregaste es una pérdida de tiempo cuidado busquen otras opciones.

Wish I would have read reviews beforehand. I thought it would all work out well. But they don't call back. I was promised a call back and didn't get one. I was also sent a blank email. What nerve!

I was supposed to get a call last week and never did. I told them over the phone 2 weeks ago if they weren't going to help us to let us know and we'd go somewhere else. All they said was they would have someone reach out. Ha!
We went to the housing expo and attended their orientation only to find out we had to do one this month. Nice of them to make rules up as they go along. One of the girls there sent out a cc email. I think that's why I only got a response. But that was also to let me know to someone in case they don't respond. I think that's the norm here.

I just left their office to tell them we're not going to work with them. I have spoken to other similar agencies who actually responded. I was told there's only one housing counselor. Well that's not my problem. If they can't handle the caseload then hire help. Too many false hopes in what is already a long and stressful process. They try to make it look like they're going to help, but we were left hanging. Thanks for wasting our time.

UPDATE: 2/8/2023 Today I was contacted by my "housing counselor" She contacted me to pretty much confront me about my review. I just find it really interesting that today she offered me "help", however when my "seller walked away" she did not have the courtesy to offer me " help" or any " counseling" knowing how distraught and heartbroken I was about this whole ordeal. I was contacted to basically be confronted about MY review honest review. Also when you get referred to realtors, lenders and bankers do your research. Be an "informed buyer be an informed consumer"

I absolutely agree with the previous people. Avoid getting services at this location specially with Donneil Harris. To get an appointment takes time. By the time you have the Interview Donneil Harris have not review your documents. Once you have the interview she tells you that you will receive more information and links to proceed.. as o fui day we didn’t received it. We tried contacting her and she never picks up her phone. Supposedly she work from home. There is more… if you are really looking for help invest your time in another place.

No sirve. Juegan con las personas. Al menos jugaron conmigo, con mi confianza, y lo unico que consegui fue una deuda de miles y miles de $$ con el DOB q no se como la pagare esperando por el ofrecimiento de NHSQ de un grant que nunca llego. Yo hize mi trabajo y lo hize muy bien. Me pidieron todo tipo de docs. y todos los di y la persona encargada comfirmo su recibo. Pero luego esta misma persona encargada de mi caso quiso los docs juntos, le cumpli el deseo y se los envio a su gusto.. sin embargo no se dio x enterada siendo que ella mismo confirmo su recibo.... yeah! y los volvio a pedir. No es facil comseguir todos esos docs. a mi edad (senior), sin transportacion propia y una enfermedad documentada en el hospital LIJH. Mi salud se vio deteriorada, no podia con tanto stress mientras las penalidades del DOB continuaban y continuan. Por supuesto no me quedo otra opcion: no podia seguirles el jueguito a NHSQ: y despues de 10 meses de poner mi confianza en ellos, me di por vencida ante tanta crueldad y deje el programa. Mi inversion de confianza, $$ (faxes,transportacion, copias), trabajo, Fe, credibilidad, se perdio..pero mi salud va primero. Yeap: una asquerocidad total .but the way: Woodside location

Absolutely do not recommend. You will be overlooked when you need their assistance. Your e-mails don't get responses. Your questions don't get answered and your concerns are brushed off. It's a complete waste of time. Go with another agency.

Avoid this location. I chose this agency for ehomeAmerica certification, since it is close to where I live. I completed the home buyer online course and they emailed me certification. I requested counseling as well, but there was no availability until next month. Thus, I decided not to have counseling at that time. It was on January 2020. On this Tuesday, 6days before closing day, Citi bank informed me to get Fannie Mae form to get signed by HUD approved counselor. So yesterday, I called NHS queens and explained to secretary from this office that I needed to have counseling asap. I attempted to reach out a counselor several times via email and phone, but unsuccessful. If I received a feedback from them like “sorry We are not able to help you right now.” Then I would not write this, but it never happened to me. And, secretary told me she is working from home now. Fortunately, I asked eHomeAmerica and they transferred me to another agency that I chose. And new agency provided me a telephonic counseling in this morning. I am writing this for all potential home buyers who may get informed to get extra forms at the last minute. This agency may be ok for those who have plenty of time to prepare, but definitely not for people in hurry!! Do not expect prompt response from this agency!!
