Love the paved trails through the woods and the views of the Bay Bridge from the beach.

Great place to bring your dog. They have many other amenities like kayak launch, playground for kids and lots of paved trails.

Our dogs rated this dog beach 5 paws up.

There is a dog beach for unleashed dogs and also a section of beach with sand for dogs on a leash. We would recommend bringing some beach chairs or towels if you are going to hangout in the leash section.

Also, for the humans there’s to wading or swimming in the water but the doggies are totally okay.

We look forward to going back and exploring the hiking trails and more or the park.

Deep in the park. Off the beaten path. Down the stairs, you'll find this dog beach. Your pup will enjoy it here.

Bring towels in your car and your own water.

Cool breeze and beautiful day! Always feel like I'm the only one in the park even when it's crowded.
Love the turtle pond! ❤️

Between Quiet Waters and Downs Park dog beaches, Downs is MUCH better. Much more room for dogs to run and shade for people to stand.

There is a fence around the majority of the beach which is great for escape pups. There isn't a fence by the rocks but it wasn't a problem for my escape dog. All the other sides had a decent fence. It only has a single entry fence instead of a double like other parks may have. I would be mindful of where your dog is at all times to keep them from slipping out the entrance/ exit.

The $6 fee can be paid online or at the gate which I appreciated. Numerous walking trails and lots of picnic tables and grills if you want to have a meal.

Great time for us and the dogs! Will be back again!

We have three small dogs that could not be let off leash due to the threatening nature of the big dogs that were. Very frustrating. Area is very small too. The park itself is nice with lots of views and trails. I would definitely go for a walk or photo op but not for the dog park
