Don't make my mistake. The management is on a level of rudeness that would make any New Yorker cringe.
Don't. It seems like a good idea before you sign.
Stay away. I don't know where to begin:
1. Poor management: they will only help when an issue concerns them, they will never help you unless it is in their interest. There is never a follow up unless there is a risk to them: Then they are literally entering your home without your permission at any given time.
2. Terrible maintenance: Once again management and maintenance will not fix/ do anything unless it's in their interest. I've literally had to bribe maintenance people with money and things like vacuums to get basic work done that is standard within the lease.
3. Identity theft: I was away and wanted my mom to access my apartment. (Sorry Mom!). Despite permitting my mom to enter, the front desk required "ID verification" that took the form photocopying her driver's license and credit card (she knew this was uncustomary, but the office literally insisted on taking photocopies or she could not access the apartment).
-The very next day my mom started getting calls from the CC company noting her CC has been frozen due to identity theft.
4. Hostile environment: I've been disrespected by the maintenance staff- literally publically yelled at, numerous times.
5. Rude facilities people and staff: I have never stayed at an apartment where a facilities guy yelled at me.
6. Health concerns: For months a container labeled "Hazard Asbestos disposal" was sitting in the middle of the complex- The roof of the building was being redone, among many other construction projects. I asked the staff several times: no answer. When I asked management if it was safe and why its there- the container was gone the next day.
-If I get lunch cancer in the future at least I know who to thank.
In summary: If you care about yourself and your well being- this is probably not the place for you.
