Very nice neighborhood park, clean and safe... Nice playground and creek

Great Community playground needing a little maintenance on cleanliness there are some abandoned colors that the children use if you are a germaphobe mom or dad be mindful and bring some wipes but outside of that great playground for all ages

Excellent pocket park in the 💜 of my historic, Virginia Highlands neighborhood. Beautiful, old specimen trees alongside the creek. Shade on hot days. I've been coming here weekly since 2006.

So this is the playground of donated toys, which is charming and a bit spooky. Our 2-year-old granddaughter loved it and spent half of her day on the swings with various members of her adoring family

Finally someone realized that the benches in any playground should be in perpetual shade! While my child enjoys playing like an endurance athlete training for an ultra marathon my enjoyment of a playground is relegated to the shade.
This playground is accessible to most of midtown and the surrounding areas by foot driving with ample street parking is also a good option. On a quiet street in a quaint neighborhood makes this playground too notch. There is also a small grain trail behind the park in case the 72 slide runs do’s not sufficiently tucker you tot out. The park is almost completely empty around the common lunch hrs but picks up again around 430-5pm and has some kids playing before noon. Overall this is not exactly a destination park but it’s close and does serve the area very well

Orme Park is the best park. It's way better than heritage Park. Just don't let your kids near the water. Lord knows what kind of mutant Ninja turtle monsters live in there. :)

This is a wonderful little park that's in the middle of a great community. The park has a couple of slides and several swings, a lot of park equipment that the kids can play on and tons of riding toys, toy trucks and sand toys. There's plenty of space for parents to sit and watch their kids and behind the park there is a neat walking trail. You have to be careful on the trail bc there is a creek beside it and it can be difficult to spot from all the trees. All in all its a great place to bring your kids.
