Honestly, my hat's off to this place. Why? Here's why.....

A "Vaziri" dish is a skewer of beef and a skewer of chicken which comes with rice and grilled tomato.....ok here it goes....

In any Persian restaurant in the vicinity of Vancouver the lowest price for this dish is $28.00 going all the way to $34.00. The adorable fact about Farsi Food is they offer that dish for $23.99...and here's the real kick....The quality is just as good! So, let's do some basic math here.....at this place you pay less for the same level of quality. They're just not...all high up on my horse about it. If I wanted to pay nearly 35 bucks for a meal, I'd go to a steakhouse and order a filet mignon......get my drift?

Loved the Vaziri.
The chicken had a beautiful lemon-marinated aftertaste and tender on the inside. The Beef was also pre-marinated and grilled just right. The rice was actually impressive. Persian rice is cooked a certain way. The grains were fully extended and al-dente, which only means they were cooked right and steamed right....oh and it was seasoned. You'd be surprised how many Persian restaurants serve their rice unsalted, which is surprising considering that Persians salt everything generously. The tomato was fresh and had a super tasty bbq'd taste grilled to perfection finishing with a sweet bow.

I also loved how the side onion for our to-go order was cut fresh. I mean super fresh. Yes, little bites of raw onion with Persian dishes is very tasty....it just goes....you should try it.

Friendly Service.
Clean Space.
Fair Prices.

Why would I go anywhere else? I won’t.

We ordered Tahchin with chicken and lamb, and the chef made fresh meals for us, which is great because Tahchin is usually pre-cooked in other restaurants, and they warm up the food when you order it.
The food was very tasty and homey, we really liked it. The staff were friendly and welcomed us with smile.

I'm from Totonto and I had so many good persian food in Toronto before but I was blown away by the masterpiece Farsifood presented before me, with its amazing and unique flavors that left a lasting impression during our Vancouver visit.

Farsifood greeted us with mini Tahchin and some fesenjoon on top. The Tahchin was absolutely delicious.

We had cucumber Yogurt Salad and their special olive for appetizer, Tehrani Kebab for the main dish and saffron rice pudding for dessert. The Tehrani Kebab was truly amazing and unlike anything I've ever tasted, so juicy and melting in the mouth. I asked for no rice with my Kebab and they served my food with some home-made bread on the house. Their portions were good enough for two ppl. Also, don't miss out on the dessert; the saffron rice pudding was the shining star of the entire dining experience for me.

Visiting this place is an experience you don't want to miss; it's absolutely worth it.

Went there for dinner, was told that Tehrani Kabob is their signature dish so went ahead and ordered it.
My best experience in Persian food so far, variety of amazingly grilled meat put together in a kabob with very flavorful seasonings. Served with a very delicate saffron rice cake on top . Perfectly charred yet juicy tomatoes to balance off the natural fat and grease from the kabob, it was an orchestra of flavors that leaves you dreaming of this food even when you're home.

Needless to say, solid 5 stars for this place.

You can either dine in, can sit about max 12-15ppl, or take out. I assume they can cater as well thanks to the big central kitchen in the back.

We ordered lamb neck, kebab of a mixed lamb and beef patty, a salad, saffron rice pudding, salty yogurt soda. Kebab was super juicy and tender. Lamb neck tastes like it’s previously frozen but meat fell off the bone. The crispy rice is very authentic.

The lady at the cashier is super friendly! A nice spot to stop after a day ski trip from cypress or grouse.

This place has a lot of innovative kebabs. The portions are very generous. And, they start serving you with a free soup (at least in our experience). They have special items on weekends, too.
The team are super friendly and the quality of good was great.
