Capilano Sushi always treats us like family every time we come in. Jon is a great sushi chef, and Capilano Sushi is definitely our favourite sushi shop in Vancouver. 1000% must try!

The server and chef are really friendly and have a great ambience. This is a hidden gem and I would love to visit again.
I tried udon, yam roll, veggie roll, veggie spring roll and veggie gyoza. A bit expensive but worth it ❤️

Quiet atmosphere (I was the only customer there when I went). Fast service. They checked in to make sure my food was good (it was!). It seems they have well priced combos, which I might look at next time cause I spent more than I intended; i did get 3 dishes alone though. A nice spot altogether.
Had the "Everything" combo, excellent value and great service. Small dining room, but great take-out sushi place!
First time here and very pleasantly surprised. Sushi was fresh and tasty and well presented. Fried things are a highlight, the yam fries are delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Parking is plentiful. Will definitely come back with the rest of the family. Great find and friendly service.

You have served my frequent post-snowboarding sushi cravings for a long time now and always delivered consistently delicious dope grub!!
This joint has a quaint, laid back and cozy eatery area with very efficient service dicing up tasty grub as well as ginormous fat portions, freshly stuffed rolls among wholesome and plentiful sashimi cuts are their key to consistency which is a great experience at good value for money.
The menu caters well for many different tastebuds and showcases a mix of hot and cold options for veggies, pescatarians and meat eaters with some edgy and quirky roll infusions. One thing I also love is their rotating combo deals which are great and awesome value for money.
There is brown rice options at a sweet add on price and makes some super delicious rolls.
The only thing I can fault is that the Miso Soup 味噌汁 is a bit too salty.
Thumbs up would visit again in a heartbeat and chowed down every last bite of that grub with a huge grin on my face. Solid location with plenty of parking .. a solid go-to option!
