This was the second time we went to this restaurant with my friends, although I didn't like sushi at all the last time I tried it, but this time it was better.

I ordered fried shrimp with potatoes, but the shrimp was too raw and the potato was too sweet.

As I am used to Iranian food, I cannot understand how a dish can be without salt and very sweet. Other than my taste, everything was fine except that the temperature inside the restaurant was very cold and I just wanted to eat my food and get out.

The cuisine was excellent. The sashimi was delicious and very special. Try the Spicy Tuna and Salmon Sashimi, it's highly recommended. It has a distinct flavour and is served in a sizable serving. Godzilla roll was very tasty as well as the Fantastic roll. Crispy and excellent spring rolls. Hot sake and beers, were up to expectations.

I'm rating the service lower than the food, Not because anyone was unprofessional or rude, but rather because there is a significant gap and potential for improvement when compared to other competitors. They can help you feel more relaxed, check in on you more frequently, and make sure everyone is taken care of and has what they need.
I didn't like receiving the appetisers with my meal either, and I like restaurants that follow the standard order of appetisers followed by the main course, and so on.
I want to emphasise that this is a proposal to enhance the service, keeping in mind that we were likely the last customers and that the personnel may have been worn out from a long day.

The surroundings was another drawback. It was far too dark, and I thought the interior could use some updating for a more contemporary, clean design.

Overall a good experience because of the high food quality.

Pros:

- Excellent food quality.
- Appropriate portion sizes.
- Fair prices.

Cons:

- The quality of the service fell short of that of other similar places.
- interior was too dark and a bit old.

I love sushi but I was really in the mood for something lighter, so when we went to Sushi Town with my family I decided to order an Avocado Salad.

I only managed to photograph mine and our daughter's food this time. Featured here:

Avocado Salad

Even though our daughter is a meat eater, when it comes to gyoza she prefers to order Veggie gyoza. The ones at Sushi Town seem to be her favourite out of all the restaurants we've been to. Dynamite Roll is a pretty standard item, and they do it decently at this restaurant.

At any sushi restaurant, the sushi is obviously the main attraction; however, I have found that when it comes to salad, sushi restaurants make them better than a lot of other places. (In my humble opinion) I think it's mostly about the dressing. There's something about Japanese style salad dressings that just works better for my taste buds than Western style dressings. This Avocado salad was nothing to scoff at. It was refreshing, tasty, and light yet at the same time still filling. In the past, when I wanted to eat light at a Japanese restaurant, I would just order sashimi and anything else that didn't have rice in it. With salads as tasty as this Avocado salad was though, I can eat lighter and healthier without compromising on flavour!

Service: Good
Parking: Plentiful and free

We ordered few Sushil roll dishes, the Alaska roll has a very weird taste, but tempuraed California roll is very good. The male server is not friendly and professional at all, from beginning to end, he never said a word to us, just dropped dish on the table then go, never asked us how is food taste or if we need anything else, it's after 9pm, restaurant is not busy at all, but service is not very good. Little disappointed ☹️

It’s the first time I came here, the environment is okay, the service is okay, but the food is really bad, the portion is small and expensive, greasy and stale, and you can’t return it. You must eat it, and I will definitely not come again

This is our go to sushi place! The prices are reasonable and the food quality and flavour is amazing! Service is always good when we've picked up or dined in as well. When you go, you MUST try their spicy salmon sashimi! It is absolutely out of this world.

One of our favourite sushi restaurants in North Vancouver. Although the food has always been high quality, don’t be surprised if they have some bad days. It’s actually a 4.5 star in my mind because once the tea was cold, another time the bathroom was out of paper towels, and today the gyoza had an odd taste. We’ll still go back though, and I’d recommend it to friends.
