I like it here better than the dam you get at the end. Bike, hike, or blade to get here, no cars except for service cars. Beautiful area for picnics. Lots of bicycle trails nearby.

A great reward after pedalling all the way along Fisherman's Trail, has panoramic views of some beautiful mountains.
Relax midway view stop with chairs, exit from the paved Seymour Valley trail via downhill Hydraulic trail or uphill connector from Spur4 trail. I'd biked.
Great place to bike to.
