I had the displeasure of living in this complex and let me tell you this place is a mess. The three years I lived there it changed management twice and continuously jacked up my rent while simultaneously not fixing maintenance issues, including mold all around my bathtub and behind my shower wall. I told the front office people several times, but the people they hired to do maintenance didn’t know how to do a simple caulking job let alone something complex. To make matters worse, there was a hole in my roof, where a raccoon or squirrel was living and they did absolutely nothing about it. So I had to live with a raccoon or squirrel living above my ceiling my entire time there. They also use some really cheap, almost paper, material for flooring and because they don’t glue it down properly. It comes up and they tried to charge me for that entire place to be re floored. This place exploits poor people by trying to flip the bill for remodeling their units on old tenants. Modern day slum lords.

Mrs. Jackie is the best. She made sure all my needs were met before and after my move in. She stayed late even though she was closed and talk with me. She never rushed the conversation so that she could leave.

Moved from Indiana to South Carolina in 2020 and this became my home up until this year! For the most part quiet neighborhood, super convenient to everything. Free membership to the rec center although it is very outdated and equipment super old. I will say I did get my car broken into and was told there are no cameras around the area whatsoever so there wasn’t much the police could help with.. so just be conscious of that. My experience was mainly under the previous management company in a 2bdr , but I transferred to a 3bdr under monarch ( the current company ) I wasn’t super pleased with how they handled maintenance issues.. due to the complex being old there were TONS of issues with AC in the summer which having children just made it impossible to deal with in 100 degree weather at times… when you add that to all the other maintenance related issues. ( keep in mind within the first 5 months of being in my unit I had a whopping 20+ work orders ) which ranged from electrical problems, hot water, air, appliance so etc) I had I ended up moving else where but give it a 6.5/10. Fairly cheaper than most in the area, but you get what you pay for honestly.

Amazing Apartment Complex where the Property Manager Jackie does a phenomenal job of keeping her property quiet, comfortable and fun with lots to do in the area. I definitely recommend to anyone searching for a great place to live.

I have been here for about a month now and love it here so far! I have a one bedroom unit that is cute and modern with up to date renovations. Jackie the property manager is super sweet and was very helpful during the application and move in process. She was very quick to respond with any questions I had. Danny the maintenance man is awesome as well! I had a couple requests when I initially moved in and he was quick to respond and get them taken care of. I really like how quiet and safe the community is which puts me at peace. You get access to the harbison community center across the street and there are many wonderful walking trails around the community which are both pluses as well! I would recommend moving here.

I love living here. Management is amazing and super quick to help us out with all of our issues. Maintenance comes the same day we put in requests. Our unit is super cozy and nice and really feels like home. This is easily the best place I've rented.

West Winds has been home for me almost 3 years. I love the community and the small cozy atmosphere. Tiffany is an AMAZING Property Manager who meets the needs of all the residents, the property landscaping and grounds well maintained as well as work orders always being taken care of in a timely manner. I would recommend this apartment community for anyone seeking a quiet place to live that's convenient to all major shopping and parks.
