Nice place for a walk if you stay in Lardos near beach. There is literally one wall but anyway, it is cool place with nice view.
Easy to find but often overlooked, these castle ruins are worth the short walk through olive groves. Great views from the top.
Eine ganz schmucke Burgruine, die man prima in einen Spaziergang ab Lardos integrieren kann. Es lohnt sicherlich nicht, nur für die Ruine einen Ausflug zu planen, aber wenn man in der Nähe ist, ist es eine kleine Wanderung wert, die einen mit Ziegenherden und einer tollen Aussicht belohnt.
Not easy to find road, I left my bike at olive garden and climbed to the castle like a mountain goat. No signs, no any information, not to much to do there and maybe not the best place to come with small kids, but I'm glad I've been there. It's some kind of adventures between lazy food time in hotel
It's a bit of a mission to get up here. The dirt path off the main road is narrow, full of pot holes and big stones in the way, so either risk it or park near the bottom and walk the rest of the way up. Only a small section of wall left, so you won't need long up there.
Nice view over the valley, castle is just one 30m wall. No access by 2 wheel drive car, you have to park down the hill and walk up.
Fantastic place to go to albeit a hard trek up dirt and uneven paths to get there. Once at the castle you can get onto the walled top area via a crumbling path at the rear. Once atop the views across the valley are incredible. Couldn't imagine being a knight in their armour in the heat when I went. Hot and dusty.
