Decent home cook 私房菜 style. Reasonable price, food served hot. Not many table available, big group recommended to make reservation.

The sweet and sour deep fried fish was amazing. The steamed egg was nice but too salty. The pork belly was excellent. The humongous prawn was coated with soya sauce

It’s our first time. We ordered a Garoupa curry fish head and Salty Prawn Kangkung in Claypot just 2 dishes, 3 plates of rice and 1 glass of Chinese tea and the bill came at RM90. Since this is like a food court without air-cond we think the price is a bit steep. But I really like the Kangkung.

Very nice food at affordable prices. Tried the steamed egg which is really silky and comes with some meat bits at the bottom, stir-fried sweet potato leaves which has a very intense wok-hey and pork belly which were deep fried to almost crispy. All 3 dishes were very tasty and cost a total of RM57. Service staff were also very friendly and no nonsense. They do not have a menu, so check out Google reviews or ask the staff for recommendation. The eatery is also accessible via the main road. It's located behind the shop at the front so can be missed if you don't look out for it. Will visit again when I'm in KL!

Every nice food, place a bit small need to wait but well worth it.

Orderd fish, vege and yam circle with sweet sour pork.

Excellent cooking, everything is perfect.

Access is thru backlane, parking is difficult.

Service is quite good, food is cooked and served fast. Food is quite salty so you may request to go easy on the salt. The steamed egg is a little underwhelming considering so many reviews had high praises for this dish (felt it was so so, a little too light). We ordered this Thai styled fried mayao dish which was quite good but frankly you can get this anywhere.

Can come if you are in the area looking for a quick bite and just so happen to manage to get parking. Otherwise, you can easily find other better restaurants nearby.

No frills, non air-conditioned restaurant serving good Chinese food at reasonable prices.

This restaurant is steeped in history.
