Good food but ambience could be better
Visiting since 20 years. Babu Patkar the manager, is always humble and courteous
Love this place. Have been going here for ages now and never disappoints. Special mention for chicken lollipop and butter chicken. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. I have seen only men at this place though.
Due to the Covid Lockdowns the Business has been affected and as such the quality has degraded a bit. The taxation along with the service charges makes the alcohol cost a minimum of 100₹ more than the printed price. The food quality has gone down over the years wherein a simple French Fries is made of so bad Potato that they changed the recipe and are adding Coriander Leaves and Turmeric and Spices to cover up the bad taste.
Overall, would say this place is okay if one doesn't have any options and would want to just sit down and chill, otherwise not that worth it coz there are better options available around this business

Amrut restaurant and bar located by the busy Matunga highway is a regular bar that serves spirits by the nip and offer an average Indian, Chinese food fare.
Nothing special about the place, though it offers an outside seating area, an inside non-ac seating and two indoor ac seating. The place is frequented by regulars, office goers and the occasional travellers who wanna have a peg or two before their journey starts.
The outside seating is ideal especially during the current pandemic situation. There are around 4 to 5 tables in the outdoor area. Most of the known domestic spirits and beers are served here. Food is just ok with the quality being mostly average. Very limited options for people favouring seafood. Thankfully, servers are donning masks all the time.
During the current difficult pandemic situation, though the management is doing whatever is possible to adhere to safety norms, one can forget about social distancing once you are inside the premises.
Overall an average bar with an equally average food fare. Safety tip: If the outside area isn't crowded, that'll be the best bet to have a quickie drink safely.

It's a old restaurant and bar where mostly all the trendy foods are available like chicken chili or other items of chicken too for the bar the some of the items are not in available. But one thing is that questioned me was the kitchen was hidden and not sure about the hygiene.
