Lovely motel, in Collingwood - a very quiet town. The motel is in the main street and near the beach.
Because of the low tide - in the evening the beach grows and the sea recedes... near attractions like Cape Farewell and Wharariki Beach. COZY and clean room, small kitchenette, and fridge. A pleasant shower. Great for quiet lovers and the price is excellent.

Such a lovely quirky place to stay with a real character and charm to it. It really has such a feeling of inviting warmth and charm making it a unique treasure and well worth a visit. I found the owners to incredibly friendly, warm and helpful. They really go out of the way to make you feel welcome and at home.

The Station House really is a unique little gem and being a short walk away from amenities and the beach makes it an ideal spot. So lovely to see the history of the place and the personal heart put into the place. Its not just any motel! Absolute charm and tranquillity.

Lovely small motel, spotlessly clean and a variety of rooms. We booked late so had a small room by the street but still had everything we needed and Collingwood is a very small town so noise wasn't an issue. Friends had larger rooms, including one overlooking the garden with a lovely outdoor area we could use, fireplace, trampoline etc. Sylvie was very welcoming.
The only thing which made me feel slightly uncomfortable was that (as far as I could find) there were no Covid-19 QR codes to scan.
