River spot ,more like river pit stop /and you will not find parking and you will not feel comfortable leaving you car there either so make sure it's empty and that means u pick up trucks

Years and years ago now. My family and I decided to go camping for a week but somewhere close and discreet but still near town not far from the conveniences of fast food and groceries. Stuff we might need along the way. Anyway, I have a brother that literally loves living in the woods and he said he had the perfect spot. It was Fenster Park. Way off the regular beaten path and about 2 miles walking distance into the forest past the beautiful river and all the abundance it blessed us with. I'm a bit of a survivalist or at least that's my mentality. Well, that week turned into 2 weeks, then a month, then 2,3,4,5,6 months before I realized that we had been back there for so long. I met some real wonderful people. Maybe they were homeless either by choice, mental illness, or just a to find themselves in the chaos of the hard working Americans. The life out there was so different but it taught me something beautiful. That people no matter where from, race, gender, sexual preferences, or anything else causing barriers between our American folks and citizens, non citizens. "We Are The People". We make the difference. We are human and deserve respect and to be treated as equals and to do it with a kind, giving heart. I saw more homeless, hard on their luck, broke, smelling like old dirty rags, hair all crazy as well as some of them just plain crazy. They just shared and brought food out to my family and I during a time in my life I really needed to see some sort of humanity. Some act of kindness. Selfless genuine kindness. It was an absolute blessing to be able to experience so many different personalities and great characteristics. I saw ❤ Love. Of course there were some hiccups along the way but those hiccups became lessons and the anger became assertiveness. My sadness and depression didn't live there. The beautiful river, smell of burning wood. What a great time living off the woods and learning about myself and things I needed to burn to the ground? And bury the ugly truth of society. Everyone Matters and are important with meaning and beauty inside and out. Show your brightness and light to everyone because your weakness is someone else's strength. Show them how to live as human beings." We Are The People ". Rember that....Fenster Park is full of beauty, knowledge, patience, physical-emotional-mental strength, resilience, power, and love. That's just the main things this place has to offer. The beauty of the river is the most fufilling.. it's like a fantasy or some wild story that changes from each personal perspective. I'm not even kidding. This place will amaze you in many ways.

Just like Big bend park this was a major let down. Trash everywhere and the landscape needs a lot of work. If you go in to deep there's a homeless camp set up. Didn't feel safe enough to stay. Wouldn't come here again.

DO NOT GO HERE! There is an invisible yet violent whirlpool. The water looks calm and still, but there is an inconspicuous drop-off with a horrific undertow. We are grateful we miraculously survived. This is part of the Green River—a quick Google search will tell you how many tragic deaths and drownings this awful river has caused. Please, stay safe!

This is a great little nature park along Green River. There are a few gravel paths and game trails that skirt along the river. There are several interpretive signs that describe the evolution of the area. Excellent views of the river. There are no facilities and no real parking options... The entrances are at the end of neighborhood streets. Worth a visit if you are in Auburn.

It was fun but has trash and misc items im assuming from homeless

It is my family's favorite place to take walks, and swim in the river!! It is lovely and, for the most part, peaceful and quiet!
