My husband and I wanted to buy some dinner and stoped at Fat Cake City Mountain View. When we walked in we were geeted with HEAVY METAL MUSIC. And it is so loud I couldn’t even place my order. I asked Deoné (one the worker) why there is heavy metal playing and why so load? My answer was: Because that is how we like it. I mean really?? I am the customer and that is a place where food are served. It is NOT A RAVE CLUB.
Anyway I asked to talk to the manager - I was told that he is not there. I wanted his number- I was told that they don’t give out his number. I asked how to get in touch with him- I was told that there is no way I can get in contact with the manager.
So NO I will NEVER EVER go there again. Not just because what happened withe the staff But also the fact that I can not give or lay a complaint with management. I DID NOT EVEN WANT TO GIVE THEM THE ONE STAR I only did it because I wanted to write this review.

Walked in 2 guys there are playing loud heavy metal music, asked them to turn it down, tunes me "they like they don't care about the customers" already contacted fat cake head office and complained about you.
You are a disgrace.
Close your shop you would be doing everyone a HUGE favour.
You have 4.2 star rating that seems like bought solicited ratings, you do not even bother to address the bad reviews.

Absolutely terrible. Staff is playing heavy metal music. Deony was extremely rude and said she likes the music and it's our problem that we don't like. Won't see us ever buying here again
Good food, good prices.
Only critique I can give, is that they can't really say it is traditional fatcake, as traditionally fatcake isn't that thin. The fatcakes also needs a bit more salt.

They sell really delicious food with decent prices, its definitely worth every penny, this the person at counter could have been friendlier to me but she still helped me

Value for money. Good vetkoek sossages and more at a very reasonable price. Good fast service. Clean and qell organized
