Adams County Historical Society

The ACHS is organized very well. The archivist is very friendly and very much willing to help the people doing research. She provided me with lots of relevant materials. The only negative issue I have about the ACHS is that its charges to copy or photograph its materials seems excessive for a small historical society with a limited collection. It charges the same fees as would be incurred at a major state historical society. These expenses are the only reason I give a rating of 4 stars instead of 5.
