Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

I wish I could pack this level of hospitality with me and take it back to the northwest. Every single person from the hostess to the folks delivering dishes were top notch. And my server Nikki was exceptional!!! For years this has been my main stop at the Houston Airport on my way home and it never disappoints. I hope it always stays this way for all my future trips through here.

If you've got a wait and you're already in the terminal, you can't go wrong killing some time at Pappadeaux. Good service, great food, and a fun location upstairs.

I have to say that I’m surprised I’m giving a 5 star review for an airport restaurant.

The food, crawfish etouffe, was absolutely delicious. The beer, karbach, was good. Service was friendly and, frankly, the best I had anywhere in Houston.

This place is expensive, but reasonable by airport standards.

The environment is fabulous, like a real restaurant. Great feeling to it and I will definitely return for every flight in the future. I can’t believe I’ve been looking at it for years, but never entered.

The seafood was fresh, the service fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would highly recommend the food.

We have been to this Pappadeaux numerous times in the past. We normally choose to dine here if the United Polaris lounge is packed with other travellers. It’s located on the first floor in Terminal E at Houston Intercontinental Airport and near gate E4. You can either take the elevator or climb up the stairs to level 1.

I personally love their seafood gumbo. Generously loaded with shrimp and crab meat. Very tasty and flavourful. My husband enjoyed his cheeseburger. Alizeth is lovely. Friendly and attentive.

It’s quite cosy in there. Nice and relaxed atmosphere.

The service was top notch. From the moment I entered, I received a warm greeting from the hostess. The lady at the bar was great: friendly, prompt, and professional. The delicious calimari was some of the best that I've ever had. The calimari was fresh with just the right amount of nicely spiced batter and perfectly cooked. The calamari had a nice balance of tentacles and rings. The food arrived very promptly.

My recent visit to Pappadeaux Seafood Restaurant at the airport was a huge disappointment. The seafood gumbo lacked flavor and was incredibly bland. Additionally, the fried calamari was soggy instead of crispy. Overall, the dining experience fell far short of my expectations. I would not recommend these dishes. I have had the other dishes at this place and they’re decent, the service is always good
