Basically a collection of call center people playing pretend to be insurance agents. They pass you around, they don’t follow through, and they don’t care. The other reviews are fake.

I worked with Ryan Harper to obtain health insurance and I can say with certainty there is a zero point zero percent chance I would have obtained quality health insurance at the price I did without Ryan. Ryan spent an hour on the phone with me, helping me with the marketplace application, answering me questions, and making recommendations. I hope Ryan gets recognized for his efforts. He was outstanding.

It was a terrible experience. The agent was rude and lazy, rushing through the plan coverage explanation like a machine. It was difficult to follow the numbers, and I'm unsure why he chose to present it that way. Extremely disappointing. I'll be exploring other agencies; felt like a waste of my time.

Without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever had. Agents are rude and lazy. They never return your calls and are anything but helpful. Even when my agent would do something, it would be wrong and I would have to do it all over. All they care about is hitting their numbers and commission. They don't care that you are a human who needs help. Do yourself a favor and get help from literally anywhere else. I will never use them again.

I have dealt with Matthew Dahlen for many years through VelaPoint. I cannot say enough nice things about him and VelaPoint. Matt is extremely pro-active, he contacts me every year, well in advance, to put together the best package for me; to get the best coverage at the best price. Matt is a very sincere and caring person. He really puts the client first. Thank you Matt and Velapoint. Merry Christmas and All the Best in 2023

My husband and I started signing up for Blue cross Blue Shield but for some reason Velapoint was our middle man broker to help us sign up for insurance. We were bombarded with calls from different people who asked the same questions. They gave us incorrect instructions on uploading documents. They slowed the process down for a month and a half by waiting an entire month to tell us that we had an error in one of our documents. We fixed the document overnight and then it took them 2 more weeks to fax that document to Blue Cross Blue Shield…
Multiple times we sent emails which took a week for them to respond to. Multiple times we set up calls with their staff and they didn’t call at the time they said they would. It seems there is no accountability between sharing information between Velapoint and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Like they don’t care that they were moving slow and preventing me from getting appointments from October to December to have any prenatal appointments. They knew I was pregnant and yet there was no urgency . We didn’t even know we weren’t talking to blue cross blue shield from the beginning, which felt shady. Once we started talking to blue cross blue shield, they moved us along. Signing up for health insurance shouldn’t be this complicated; and put our baby’s health at risk.

Kevin Brown was exceptional! He listened and heard my needs, made recommendations and guided me along the way. He made a task that I was dreading seamless without being pushy. He gave me options both verbally and by email and set up a time to call back. He understood that I needed to think and weigh out my options, he was patient and answered ALL of my many questions. Thank you Kevin for meeting me on my level and being so helpful. I appreciate you so much. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Velapoint and Kevin!
