Museum will take a couple hours to get through a lot of information. Really enjoyed learning about this tragic event from the not so distant past.

Sad, grim and sobering experience understanding the background of the Armenian Genocide. Hope that no other race will ever go through the atrocities undergone by the Armenian people. One event like that is one too many. The guide gave a detailed tour of the museum

Ein Ort, den man besuchen sollte. Nicht nur wegen der schönen Aussicht.

Makes me humble visiting places like this but today was particularly special because of Genocide Memorial Day in Armenia and beyond its confines. Well worked out one way system for visitors to get in, to the eternal flame and then out again without any need for pushing and shoving. Everything remained calm and peaceful. A very powerful experience.

Armenian or not, you’ll get very emotional visiting the Genocide Memorial. You can’t but think of all the torture a nation went through. And the museum there cannot be put into words. It’s very sad seeing all the painful photos from the genocide and reading about the life of Armenians back then yet it is very beautifully portrayed and it definitely touches you. I believe all Armenians around the world should go and visit the Genocide Memorial and always be reminded of what a great nation Armenia was, is and will always be ❤️💙🧡

One of the best historical museum. The memorial complex is very nice, well designed and so peaceful. The museum is very well organized and informative. You can get a guided tour but i prefer to do it myself so i can read all info and go through details.
I highly advised you to check the museum once there.
