Generally, I enjoy The Flying Biscuit, no matter which location I visit. This location happens to be very conveniently located for me. My only culinary complaint is one that I would direct toward the coffee, which has such a bitter taste that can only appeal to the (I'm sure) minority of people who somehow enjoy it bitter. Truly, it takes more cream and sugar than it should to make this coffee drinkable. I'm not sure why so many otherwise good breakfast places serve coffee like this. As for the food, you can't go wrong with anything you order. I recommend everything, even the menu items that I never tried.
That being said, this location tends to be the least likely to get overwhelmed with crowds, so this is another reason why I prefer to visit this location. Parking in the deck is easy and validated. It's also an easy walk from the nearby MARTA station, which is a big plus if you're looking for a good place to meet up with friends.
The staff is very friendly and warm, but can be slow, especially if there isn't a large crowd. So be careful about eating here if you are on a time crunch.

Great restaurant. It was packed, but seating was very quick. Got biscuits, gravy and grits. Food was fantastic. Grits were creamy like mashed potatoes. Gravy was rich but light. Service was just the right amount of attention. $54 for 3 to eat.
DoorDash order. Best biscuit ever. Waffle and chicken was ok. Creamy grits were decent. Cup of apple juice was expensive.
My family loves the flying biscuit!! We frequent the one in Gainesville but visited the Auburn location this morning. It’s always so good. The grits are the absolute best. I always love the stuffed French toast as well. Servers are very nice and efficient! Would always recommend.
Great location! Service was prompt, food was fresh, and this location was very clean. I had the usual shrimp and grits but added salmon this time(very tasty). Hangover hash was really good with the side of queso. Highlight was the oatmeal pancakes with baked in bananas. The texture was perfect, and their syrup or jam paired nicely.
My wife and I, stopped in to eat and were greeted by Michelle. We had the MOST FABULOUS BREAKFAST!!! Wife had scrambled eggs over biscuit covered in honey and I had the two eggs over medium with the dreamy grits and the stuffed strawberry french toast and all of it was fabulous!! The coffee was fresh and incredible and again I want to thank Michelle for great service. Highly recommend this place to eat!!! Can't wait to come back!!!!
Want to rate Flying Biscuit higher but had underdone French Toast (which they replaced on request, which was great) and luke warm coffee this time around, so had to down rate it this time. The food is usually great and service on point, but this time it was just okay. Can highly recommend the biscuits and the raspberry jam. 😋
