As a UMD student, I enjoy walking on the brick path when crossing through Hornbake Plaza, but the buildings around the plaza are kind of mid. There is a nice balcony nearby and the Frederick Douglass sculpture, which does boost the rating of this plaza. I have seen events be held here, so there is some utility to this space.
Lots of benches and some tables. Nice to sit outside and study during good weather
I worked there for 10 years. Great place to read and see daylight
They removed all the computers and printers, it's never been same again

Great outdoor space with benches. During the semester there's different activity booths set up here.
