This is one of the more disappointing monuments I have visited in the United States. For all of the hype, the movies, the stories, and the Texas pride, this place is little more than a facade in a horrible setting. All of the huge buildings on all sides, the traffic, and the huge numbers of people really make this place look minuscule.

It was a great time spent with family. There is also an inside Mall, and lots of shops in the area.

When in San Antonio, you must visit this historic sight. We arrived late in the day on a chilly February afternoon. Parking was an issue. It's very expensive to park in a lot nearby, so we found metered street parking a little ways away. It is an interesting historic place with lots to see and lots of tourists to contend with.

Alamo Meuseum is a very nice place , rich with history .
You can sit around and it’s free to take photos etc
My advice would be to go both in day and night to fully enjoy it and spend some time around the market to get your soveniors

Location or ground zero for handicap access to the Riverwalk or Alamo. The Visitor Center is here across from the Alamo. You can buy tickets to the Alamo at this location. A public bathroom is directly to the left of the Alamo at this monument. They are clean and handicap accessible to.
