Saw a lot of people check this site out! It looks like there are a lot of histories shown to introduce this place.
It was just way too hot in early August for us to dare walking and going through this place.
Hopefully we get to visit again!

They say everything is bigger in Texas, so I was a little underwhelmed by how small the mission and Alamo actually is. I understand it used to be bigger, but in all the pictures you see it just looks bigger. All in all, very neat history, nice exhibits, self guided tours are easy to follow and don’t forget the canon display off to the side and the 16 pounder up on “the wall” of the old fort.

The only one that does not perform mass , the church is used as a museum, it is something nice to see.

A great informative exhibition worth taking the time to work your way through and read the signs right next to the Alamo. Accessible from the river walk

Oct.2021 Mission San Antonio de Valero is located in front of “the Alamo”in Alamo Plaza. It is a good size area with a lot of information and some artifacts to check out for free. There it is also surrounded by a lot more history of “the Alamo” and Texas. This historical site is a must visit when visiting San Antonio.

It's a nice place with a lot of story behind it, a mandatory place to visit if you come to San Antonio.
You can walk for free over the garden and take good photos, but if you want to visit inside of the buildings it is a cheap ticket to buy. It is better to get guide information or to learn before seeing because you can understand better the history.
