Restaurant Le Vieux Four de Laval

Wonderful group experience. We came for a work dinner and leading up to the day the owner was very helpful and involved in the planning. The day of the dinner he was present and welcoming. They even printed a personalized Christmas menu with a colored festive border. They really care. We appreciate it!

The waitress was awesome. The food was great. There was a talented dj playing music. We will be back! Thank you

The food was great . Entres of homemade Parma squares were tasty, and the calamari were perfectly cooked. The red sauce was the best I ever had. The bread was very good with whipped better. The mains were linguini a la gigi. Very tasty sauce. I had the lasagna, many layers , and good cheese, and the sauce was good but missing a little spice or two. Missing a little kick, just a little too bland. The prices were on par with the quality of food and service, a little 375ML of wine was 20$, and drink 10$ + . Entres 15-18$ and mains 20-30, plus taxes and 18%tip it was about 150$ for 2.
We had no reservations, and the lady in the front was a little snarky about it, made us feel like we were lucky to even get a table. I was not happy with her attitude. But the server was on point , great service, and a little funny too. The joint was rocking with birthday groupe. I was a little noisy but it calm down alot after the first group left. Second time there in 12 years and the first time we had the wood fire oven pizza and they were very good. I will not wait so long before going again.

Fantastic!!!!! Had a family gathering here. Definitely 5 star all the way. The food was great, the service was amazing (thank you Johnny). Whole family felt comfortable and enjoyed our first time here. Will definitely go back.

Food was excellent, service was fast and the waiter was very friendly.
They have wide variety of alcohol drinks and cocktails.
The only problem is it's difficult to find a parking.

The parking was too small but the restaurant was good the pizza was ok and the pasta was ok too

Had a 50th birthday party there last week and we were about 30 people. The service was very good (2 waiters serving us) and everyone was happy with their plates. My only disappointment was my meal and another 3 of us who ordered the rib steak. The steak was very chewy (nerves or ligaments, stringy) that I had to spit the meat out, could have just been a bad cut of meat. Otherwise a great place.

The owner was vibrant and welcoming to us. There was a nice ambiance at the restaurant With live music. Friendly conversation and great food. There’s a variation of wine to choose from that ranges as low as 38$ a bottle all the way to 120$ a bottle. The food portion was very generous. I ordered an appetizer for two people prosciutto, friend zucchini, shrimp as well as fried calamari. With just that I was full. Then we ordered a delicious pizza with caramelize onions and chicken to share. Everything was delicious including the sauces that were accompanied.
