Violet Hotel

Kids pool, the food and most of all the luxurious hotel stay and accommodation. Exceeds all standards of expectation.

Staff are well trained , patient, polite and professional.

Violet hotel is also the nicess hotel i visited. They nice bulding, big rooms and washrooms. Well decorated hotel. Their service is soo fantastic. Their price is affordable. If you want to choose hotel in makkah, choose violet hotel.

It's a good place to have meetings and the buffet was good idea, it's 80 sar per head, a bit on the higher end but the food has a lot variety

I would say the best hotel to stay in that range and around that area. 5-10 minutes drive to Masjid Al Haram. The only hotel in that area with big windows and good view, all other hotels have tine windows (if that matters to you). My kids used to spend time sitting on the bed gazing out of the 15th floor window. Very good breakfast, helpful staff but hardly anyone knows english. Most of the staff is Arabic speaking only so calling reception and housekeeping was a bit of a hassle, otherwise all good. They have gym and kids play area along with a swimming pool (not free). Few shops just outside the hotel where you can buy gifts and food (not expensive as one would expect them to be).

We looked at several hotels and were very satisfied with our choice. If I visit again and plan to stay in this area,it is going to be in Violet.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. Just some issues with room service. Not sure if it was because of Ramadan but they wouldn't come clean our room and we had to always call down for more water which would take forever. The shower was also half open and water would get all over bathroom floors. The ambience and everything was great though. It was in a very up and coming district with lots of food and shopping options around

Unprofessional staff how they work in 5* place it’s crazy!
The FO come to our room and they entered the room without any permission or knocking on the door! And my mother was in house clothes, and they didn’t go out when they see her, rather continue talking to her that she must go out! And She booked over the phone the for the next day!

And there are a lot of unprofessional attitudes. I pay more than one thousand and four hundred riyals per day, and their service is not estimated even by fifty riyals.

Bad service bad attitude no barking .

This place is horrible. The concierge said we would get gym facilities as compensation. Made us wait for hours just do deny entry. The staff are incompetent. Take your money somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
The room was decent, it smelled kinda funky. The hotel looks good but the staff are rude. Looks aren’t everything.
