Pretty much the worst car park I’ve ever parked in. Tight spaces, looks like it’s falling down, and no machines work so you have to queue for ages as you pay a guy in a shed one by one.
We tried to avoid this one due to reviews but were running late and had to use it.
Don’t do it.

STAY AWAY! this is has to be the worst car park ever ( believe me this is even a compliment)! the state of the facility is absolute horrendous, and does not feel safe at all. It is dark and obsolete and nothing works.
The cherry on top of the cake is, after paying the amount the machine displayed to me, I have now been sent a letter by ParkingEye, saying I have underpaid my stay (I repeat the parking machine states how much you need to pay). Thank God I kept the ticket as a receipt cause now they have sent me a letter wanting me to pay more than £200! I appealed this, but these scammers just don't care, and after contacting them with no response, I have now been issued a court letter. For the love of God please just stay away!

Warning - this car park is a major scam operation they trick you into thinking it is 24/7 hours with their banner advertising but lock you out of your car at 7pm. Only then to issue you a fine and take you to court.
Next door, Silk Road the manager has a fob for it but people shouldn't be harrasssing the guy due to this car park.
I understand they lock it because of people sleeping in there and anti social behaviour but they could employ security at least considering the price they charge.
I will never use a Parking Eye car park again and advise others not to either.
I've reported this place to the council.

Machines not working - but got a parking ticket for entering and leaving.
What happened to me was already described by others below. I entered and then left the car park because there was no working machine which I could use to pay. Now I received a 60£ parking ticket. I will appeal and I'll post an update when I get a decision.
I entered this car park on 03 June 2023. Spent 11 min looking for a working machine to pay. There was a sign on the closest machine that a working machine could be found on the upper floor. So, I went to check but it was also not working. Finally, I decided to leave and look for another car park.
I am not sure if it was possible to pay using my phone, but I didn't see any instructions how to do that. I also did not think that I needed to pay for a service which I was unable to use. But they took a photo of my car upon entry and leave, and I received a ticket for 60£. I hope my appeal will be successful, and I'll post an update below.

Essentially a scam, avoid at all costs. No way of knowing from outside that you WILL be locked inside at 7pm including shutters on the pedestrian entrance (and only a dark grey sign in a poorly lit underground carpark once you're inside). Thankfully a resident of the apartments above was able to let us and our fellow captive out after 10 minutes calling nearby restaurants who apparently have keys. Will be reporting this management company any way possible. From previous reviews I can expect some form of parking notice which I will be gladly contesting.
For anyone that gets trapped, there is an emergency fire exit behind the renovation barriers round the corner from the exit. Thankfully we were rescued just as I was about to leave through the alarmed doors.

DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK. I drove in it thinking it was secure but was very dark and dingy. It also had a funny smell and glass on the floor. I decided not to stop so drove to the exit and even tried to pay even though I didn't want to park here as a precaution. Unfortunately the machine didn't work and as I had only been there a matter of minutes I drove off. Obviously a grace period was not good enough and received a parking change for £60 a week later.

STAY the hell away from this God awful car park. We used this car park for a simple meal next door. We got back within the time frame only to be locked out. I had to leave my girlfriend on her own at night whist I did laps around trying to find an entrance into the car park. It has "parking tariffs apply 24 hours a day 7 days a week" on a huge banner.
Eventually I got my car, THE OWNER / MANAGER OF SILK ROAD next door has a key and was very apologetic for it and honestly saved the night.
Because I was locked out of the car park, I then received fine from from this joke of a company. Now they are taking me to court unfortunately I didn't appeal the court and may from a legal standpoint have to pay £205-£275
I tried contacting Parking Eye and they just don't really care. I will be boycotting this company from now on.
Don't believe me, read the all the other reviews!! I'm actually lucky I was locked OUTSIDE!!
