Dr Abraham Kallumannil is a stubborn doctor. He just want to prescribe the medicines that he thinks what is good for me. I rushed back home with a diarrhea because I had ibuprofen injection. I asked for voltfast/cataflam because it makes me feel better but he refused. I asked for panadol so I and my wife can use it instead he prescribed maxigesic even after I told him that she's pregnant and he said let her use it. Everyone knows it's very dangerous for the baby. He said I am a doctor I know she can take it. I did blood test then he said after the results we will see if you need antibiotics we waited for 40 minutes after that he prescribed antibiotic even when nothing was showing in blood test results, he said it's okay if you get worse just take it. He refused to prescribe deslortadine he said its either this or otrivin nasal spray. What kind of a doctor who keeps saying No! In a very rude way and showing off as is he graduated from Harvard. Never coming back again to this hospital nor nmc.

Dr. Sanjay Udhani (Pediatrics) is great with the little ones and has been treating mytwins for the last 5 years but God help you if come under the care of the current nursing staff. My daughter required treatment/ drip and apparently the staff decided to wait for insurance approval to start treatment...

Then it took the nurses more than 3 attempts to start a drip line. That alone will scar a young child. Unfortunately she needed to use the washroom and had to undergo a repetition of getting a new drip line set up. I can see that my 5 year old will refuse to visit the doctors after this. I cannot and will not accept an excuse that it is hard to find a vein in young children. Nurses treating young children have to be highly skilled at their job and it seems this clinic is not bothered getting the right staff.

This clinic needs a serious review of its procedures whether it staff, wait times that can be in excess of 2 hours or treating a patient.

I am editing this review after my daughter who had a 720pm appointment was put on a drip. It is now almost 11pm and the staff has told us they cannot continue treating as the clinic is closing. I think the Sharjah Medical Authorities need to conduct an investigation as to why treatment was started and now has to be abandoned midway because riming of the clinic is a factor. This seems to me that the clinic took in a patient, made their money and now its closing time...so a 5 year old will go home with a partial treatment....WELL DONE NMC!!!!... And no I am not interested in talking with you via email or call center for what will be a patronising conversation.

I want to to see that a serious review of your policies and staff takes place immediately....

Shumaili, the receptionist at NMC Medical Center, is an exceptional employee who goes above and beyond in her role. From the moment I walked through the door, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcome. She is always professional, courteous, and attentive to every patient's needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Swarna Latha for my skin for around four months now. She’s extremely sweet and understanding and has helped transform my skin. I had seen many dermatologists at other hospitals, but they weren’t as helpful with the treatments.

However, Dr. Swarna was able to understand my condition immediately and prescribed me the right treatments. She’s also made sure to explain to me the side effects of the medicines and how to prevent them. She's made me feel very comfortable at all my appointments. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

Last week, I had a negative experience with Maysaloon Clinic, which unfortunately repeated itself with NMC, and now with Sharqan Clinic. I visited Sharqan Clinic on a Wednesday to see a gastroenterologist, as the doctor was only available on that specific day, and had received a consultation and recommendation for a blood test. However, I am yet to receive any updates or a call back regarding my results and follow up treatment, despite reminding both clinics several times with no response. This has left me feeling like it's a business, as I had to book another appointment and pay for additional consultation fees just to receive follow up treatment.
