Good variety of items but terrible customer service from cashier. Both female staff were rude and impatient. Had a much more pleasant experience at Tong Li Hornsby, which actually sells the same items at cheaper prices.
My best stop for grocery shopping but the cashier literally rude. Not saying a word from the second we place the items till finished. Maybe she just cant speqk english:)
Got served by a cashier with glasses today 4:15 pm on 20 May 2023 . Basically she just threw everything inside or not even inside my shopping bag . The first ever in Australia experienced this customer service.
VERY RUDE staff. I would have filed for moral damages. One of their staff just accused me of stealing and went through my bag just because it was big. People were looking at me like I stole something.
Luckily the cashier who served me first when I got there recognized me and she let me go.
Will never come here again, their selection is not worth that embarassment they put you through. Replace your staff with people who are friendly and speaks ENGLISH!

I had a terrible experience at Tong Li Rhodes.
I visited there with my 10months old baby with pram, and gave up buying because there was a long queue andy baby was crying.
When I exit, I told the cashier to check my pram and she found a $2 cookie. Immediately she called her manager and I was yelled by her manager in front of everyone. He called me thief and I was shaking because it was very embarrassing in front of many people.
First of all, I asked her to check pram before exiting. (I had my child in the baby carrier)
Second, who steal only $2 cookies?
It was my favourite shop, but I will never come back again.
