What happened to respecting the opening hours, that you guys set up in the first place?

I would avoid here given they make me want to return to a certain green company based in a seaside town, albeit a cold and wintery one

Really good layout express so missing somethings I needed but we'll stocked especially for around 8pm on a Sunday
I popped into tesco to purchase wine and other drinks to have with dinner, we were on holidays staying in a near by suite . I am 52 years of age. The male store assistant working at 15:00 on 26/08/2023 refused to serve me saying he needed to see ID from all of my company. I was holidaying with my family.
This is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. I actually thought he was joking but he wasn't.
Shame on you Tesco. I will be formally lodging a complaint about this.

A bad cashier wanted my Id for beers. I'm gonna be 30 this year, have big beard and lots of gray hair. Are you even serious? At this point its just funny.
I came from Paris and I can say this was one of the best experience in a supermarket. The staff is very kind and polite. I keep remembering how helpful the workers were to me.
Really handy stop off for me on the way to work. Good selection of sandwiches, rolls, etc for my lunch. Also has fresh bread and croissants most days. Staff are generally friendly and always willing to help.
