Worse experience ever!
Pool staff are very rude and racist. Don’t waste your money here. Luckily Lucas the manager is AWARE his staff are racist and rude, and he gave me my money back. ONLY under the agreement that I wouldn’t reach out to corporate again. This is a WHITES ONLY HOTEL!
It’s just illegal for them to put a sign up that says it so they make sure you know by how you are treated.
Don’t let them fool you with those angles on the pictures. The rooms are tiny, bunk beds were smelly with pee and badly stained
1 star because it is a beautiful establishment and housekeeping were friendly.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Way overpriced! Room was small as well as the pool area. Pictures online make everything seem bigger than they actually appear. If you’re black which I am stay away! or be prepared to go to jail. The racism was at an all time high. Staff was rude. They act like the feds in the pool area. They want money for EVERYTHING! Including breakfast when my one day stay was $400!!! It was just pathetic. Definitely won’t be back and Would NOT recommend it to anybody.
The water park was nice. My kids had fun but when the park closed at 8pm we entered up to the room and with in 10 minutes security knocked on the door saying we were too loud. My kids were very disappointed. For $200 a night with 4pm check in doesn't leave you much time to enjoy the trip. We will not be returning.
Housekeeping staff was very friendly, my only complaint is the way they do there breakfast charging 17.95+tax for an adult and 7.95 a child even charging that for a 1 yr old, the food choices were no different then other holiday inns that are free, they have waitresses to bring you you beverages which is ridiculous after spending that much on food I couldn't even eat and having to tip the waitresses that did bare minimum was just to much, several guests were complaining about it. I would never pay for that again, not worth it.
Water park itself was pretty good. It could use a "fresh coat of paint", but all the slides/water features worked just fine. Biggest issue for us was all the bigger kids taking over the toddler/infant pool (when they were obviously too big for it) and basically forcing the little kids to abandon the pool until they leave. Staff wasn't doing anything to address the issue and parents weren't stopping the big kids either.
Our stay this year compared to last is going much better. I love that the construction and renovation is completed with their bar and restaurant. Staffing in regards to professional support and kindness has improved. Over all I think management and training of staff and retention has greatly improved as well as quality and cleanliness! Thanks very much for going the extra mile to accommodate our room reservation along with following through on our comp! My kids , wife and I appreciate the gesture and are glad we came back to Maple Grove MN 😊👍
