An absolutely amazing place...a year's membership is reasonable and its perfect for kids. From what I've experienced, staff and volunteers are a credit to the zoo and it seems this is just the beginning of a zoo that's growing into something truly special. We Bristolians are lucky to have it on our doorsteps.

This is not a Zoo.... This is protection and conservation. Animals in natural environments doing their stuff totally unstressed.
We spent 5hrs wondering around with a 6 Yr old and only the promise of ice-cream could drag him away.
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and open for a chat.
Can't wait for the gorillas to arrive.
We'll definitely be back.

Loved this place so much and was nice to see animals looking happier in their environment.
Sadly when we went, a few bits were closed. Also, maybe having sign posts would be helpfull. When on a Saturday and it gets busy.
I could spend a whole day here.

It's was good. I had a great time, but I did see some worrying stuff like an ostrich cage that was WAY too small for it and an enclosure for a cheetah, which needs to run around but cant

Lovely place, with so much potential. Currently it does lack! But this place is a work in progress, so have that in mind.
It's a conservation project, so paths are muddy, when wet, but it's not really a big deal. It's not your standard pretty park, because it's wild, and I actually like that. It's great that this place encourages natural wildlife too.

A new area of the park being built will enhance it so much.

We got lucky, and the bears and wolves were so close, we got a fantastic view!

Overall a good day out, with more to come, but make sure you check what's there before yoy visit, so you know what to expect

My family has an annual membership as you cannot do it all in a day. Great staff and volunteers who really care about the animals and the ecology. Can go back again and again. Still isn't finished but just all the more to look forward too. Much better than the Clifton site ever could have been.

Disappointing. There were some lovely, and well looked after animals to see however the price is high for what took us 2 hours to do the whole visit. Everything is a bit unfinished looking. Food options limited and a bit pricey take a picnic. We went with teenagers and the activities focused on younger children so could be better for those with littler ones. Wear wellies if it is wet or has been wet the days before. Expected more for the price
