Went out of our way last Friday to give monies for Children in Need at ASDA Patchway. Nobody knew anything about the bucket even though they were dressed up to support this good cause. Eventually sent to Customer Service where a pleasant lady went off to find the one and only bucket so we could put are monies into it, this was 12 noon. What a shame no senior member of staff took this event seriously.

The asda itself was fine, however the actual car park is disgraceful. A burnt out car at 6pm in the evening ( it was already smashed up and left there for weeks apparently ) smashed up ceramics, bits of strewn trolleys, and youngsters doing donuts in their cars. Definitely is not a glamorous affair there or well kept by any means.

During my recent visit to Asda I required the use of the rest room / gents toilet , I am in total agreement with the many other reviews of this facility .
A very strong stench of urine greeted me as I entered , the floor was wet with urine , toilet paper littered the floor , toilet seats broken .
I can't help wondering if management are prepared to let the public use and see this disgusting facility , how do they handle and treat the food we eat ?? .
This store should be condemned .

While visiting the store at Cribbs causeway on 08/10/2024 my wife and I had reason to use the toilet facilities.

We both came out after finding the mens and especially the womens in an utterly disgusting state.

My wife found 4 out of 5 cubicles where completely blocked with toilet paper and poo because none would flush, and the fifth one that did, the seat was split in two.

The men's smelt so bad of stail urine a fellow customer, and I used the disabled toilet.

I am sorry to say but in our opinion the facilities couldn't have been cleaned for at least a couple of days if not longer.

Bearing in mind the toilets are next to the in store cafeteria, it really is not good enough from a hygiene poit of view.

Customer service just gets more and more shocking. Just left the store and the guy on the self check outs couldn't have been more rude and just grunts. Security also extremly rude even when you are quite literally paying for your shop!

The ASDA branch really needs somebody to get hold of this store and properly sort it out.

Lots of empty shelves (fruit and veg), stuff dumped in the wrong shelf with the price labels somewhere else. Long queues at tills.

Oh and tesco is now often cheaper for many branded items... let alone the German discounters.

Patchway deserves better.

The Asda in Patchway offers a mixed bag of experiences for shoppers. On the positive side, the store boasts a spacious and easily accessible car park, making it convenient for customers to find parking. Additionally, the unexpected offering of mud for growing flowers adds a delightful touch for garden enthusiasts. The presence of a travel money department is also a practical feature, catering to those planning trips abroad.

Inside the store, the spacious layout provides ample room for browsing, and the presence of an in-store café adds to the overall shopping experience, although I haven't had the chance to try it yet. Furthermore, the inclusion of a cake box stand and a Panku Sushi Street food stand offers a diverse array of culinary options.

However, one significant drawback is the poor condition of the store's floors. They are often scuffed, dirty, wet, and slippery, posing safety hazards for shoppers. It's imperative for the management to prioritize floor maintenance for the safety and cleanliness of the store environment. Overall, while the Asda in Patchway has its merits, improvements are needed to ensure a consistently positive shopping experience.
