Excellent food and service. Parking can be difficult at times but just be patient. They serve beers for those looking for early start. They are closed on Tuesdays, and last order is at 930pm.

A variety of large 8 seater and 4 seater round tables, spacious and tidy.

Service is attentive on ordering ones meals. The kitchen prepares in real time with quality tasting ingredients and served to the table, assuring serving spoons are with the meal.

Singapore Bihun is superb and the soup of spinach century egg is a healthy meal. A large variety of meals are made as you can see in the photos.

I've eaten at Hai Bee on several occasions in groups, never been disappointed and recommend this establishment.

The food was delicious.
The Chinese Garlic Chives 青龙菜 with salted fish hits the spot with generous amounts of salted fish.

Belacan chicken was well coated with belacan powder, so for some people it may be a bit salty. It met our palates' expectations. Eating it with rice or dipping in chili sauce does bring down the level of saltiness.

The cod fish in soy sauce was the pièce de résistance - soy sauce just right, well paired with ginger, chives and kintsai.

It is a neighbourhood restaurant and so it is noted that patrons to the establishment should not expect the service equal to that of larger restaurants. The wait staff were possibly tired when we visited at 8 pm and were of rather dour countenance. When we smiled at them, they did smile back, albeit in a reserved manner.

The restaurant is apparently 20 years old and so, it does not look so new and fresh. With that in view, it was acceptable and we have no complaints of the experience.

Food's good and reasonably priced. But the place is a bit cramped with limited tables and the hospitality is apathetic (feels rushed). I get mixed reaction when asked if I'd return to this joint for a dine in... most probably not.

Simple but good food... tasty, delicious, and mouth-watering.
Limited seating due to the small space/size restaurant.
Hai Bee offer simple yet delicious chinese cuisine at reasonable price. Tofu and vegetable is delicious and flavorful. Their top dish would be the lemon sauce steam fish, sweet, salty and spicy sauce. Pretty good spot for lunch & dinner.
