Nice tibetan spots with good numbers of tibetan food in the menu. We tried shabhaley, momo and shapta. Flavors were right on point . I will go back again

The ambiance and service was very lovely. My children were offered coloring books with crayons and markers while we ordered and waited for our food. The bathroom is for a single user, but it's spacious, clean, and includes a diaper changer.

As a Tibetan cuisine newbie, I was blown away. We savored the spicy chicken gya-thuk, beef momo, and the outstanding lamb shank. The Tibetan black tea was a unique delight. The lamb shank stole the show with its tender meat, luscious sauce, and intriguing accompaniments. Nomad offers a journey of tastes and textures that's truly unforgettable. Can't wait to return for more!

This restaurant has a great atmosphere with awesome food. Went there with my Girlfriend and were both fully satisfied. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for Tibetan food with some Nepalese magic. Food was cooked right; couldn't ask for a better place to miss home. I would recommend at least one visit for you to determine how good this place is.

So, I am giving Nomad 3 while reserving the right to post a better review later. The photos I took of the take out food we received was NOT WHAT WE ORDERED!. Our food was evidently delivered to someone else (Daniel, whomever you are I hope you liked our choices) by mistake. Nomad does not have outside dining, so we decided to order curbside delivery and eat in our back yard. Anyway, the beef momos and whatever was in the broth was okay, but not the rest. We did eventually have our actual order remade and delivered to our home an hour and a half later (by then I was too cold to take pictures again). But everything we actually ordered tasted delicious (or I was tired). So, I will try Nomad once again, on my new Solano Avenue Restaurant Test (eventually), but for now I reserve judgement.

A really wonderful dining experience. The service was very friendly, and the food was delicious. We ordered the beef curry, broad noodle soup, and pork & veggie momos. The curry and the pork momos were fantastic, and we added a bit of chili sauce to kick up the noodles. Would definitely recommend stopping by.

Tibetan food hasn’t gone mainstream in the US, and it’s really a shame.

I recommend coming here with 2 or more, so that you can order more (I guess if you want to pig out by yourself that’s cool too). We had Ting-mo, Shabhaley, Shambala curry, Momos, and Pan-fried Basa fish.

The Ting-mo is most similar to Chinese mantou, but they’re braided beautifully (see picture). The Shabhaley is like a cross between an empanada and a Chinese dumpling. It’s a special menu item that is often recommended and for good reason. It’s perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

The Momos can be ordered in a combination so that you can try more than 1 type of Momo in a batch of 8. Like the Shabhaley, they’re oh so juicy on the inside. The Pan-fried Basa fish is served on a hot plate and drizzled with a sweet and sour sauce, some greens, and lots of garlic. To say it was a flavor explosion would be an understatement.
