Sabor A Mexico

We absolutely loved our dining experience. The owners and staff were attentive. The guacamole appetizer was incredible. The food was fresh and delicious. The flan was the icing on the cake, perfect!

We had a disappointing experience at the restaurant when two individuals who arrived after us were served, finished their meals, and left before our food even arrived. Despite waiting for about 20 minutes for simple tacos, we only received them after prompting the waitress. Unfortunately, the beef tacos we ordered were extremely dry, adding to our dissatisfaction with the overall service.

I must’ve caught them on a bad night bc the manager was the most disrespectful person ever I actually think she’s racist bc her service towards me was horrible. She didn’t even offer me any water or the chips and salsa sample they give b4 we order but she definitely gave it to the other customers sitting at the next table! Not only that they prices are outrageous for a margarita to taste like water and nasty old lime and salt smh I used to go there a lot but their food and drinks definitely started slacking! I also seen the guy in the kitchen that cooks touch the food like literally lining the food up neatly on the plate. SMH I will never ever go back to that spot and I don’t recommend that spot to anybody not even if u was on a lunch break and wanted a quick taco or burrito !

We have tried all the Mexican food spots on the UES and Sabor is by far the best. Margs are refreshing, strong, and delectable. Guac is absolutely fresh, just creamy enough, and actually spicy if you request it so. 11/10

We had one guest needing wheelchair access, one big step, but totally worth the lifting. They were so sweet to accommodate us and drinks were amaizing!

Worst Mexican food in the Upper East Side. Second time trying it and I should’ve learned my lesson the first time with really garbage tacos.
This time I order a grilled chicken torta and they either gave me ground beef or ground chicken. Who uses ground chicken for a torta? The torta was tiny and soaked in oil. NOTHING like a torta either. I feel like I didn’t get any bean spread, mayonnaise, or avocado. Just the meat with lettuce, tomato, jalapeños and bread. Needless to say the meat tasted like Ortega store bought blend.
