Current female manager is extremely rude and was very loud when confronting me. I've heard other complaints about how dismissive and rude she is to others. Maybe her boss should take action on this matter

I tried to give this feedback to the manager but she was dismissive. Before going to see the apartments, I tried contacting the management with no response. I decided to come to the building and talked through the intercom three times. I was disconnected twice, I like to think that they couldn't hear me, and the third time they let me in only to tell me nothing was available to see. No "May I help you?" or "Welcome, I am aware you want to see an apartment today. Unfortunately,...". Just a plain "we don't have anything available" without dropping what they were doing.

I wanted to ask some questions about the community, its amenities, etc, but I was so taken aback by the manager's rudeness that I decided to mention that I thought she was being rude. I really wanted to live in this place so I thought I was offering some honest feedback that probably stemmed out of a silly misunderstanding.

Her response was even more rudeness and an excuse that someone else picked up the intercom. The easy thing would have been “I’m sorry you felt that way, let me introduce myself, unfortunately we don’t have anything to show you right now but if you have any questions I can answer, I’d be happy to”. Instead, she turned around giving me her back and said “ok bye”.

I’m shocked that a professional manager would have such horrendous treatment to people. I hope, though, this feedback would help improve the customer service. Needless to say, I signed a lease the following day in another place.

I lived here in 2018. Rent was expensive but I guess comparable for other apartments in the area. Location is excellent and view from the top floors nice. Building itself is old and apartment that I stayed was in poor condition and in desperate need of renovation. Especially the bathroom looked very unpleasant with broken tiles and bathtub sink clogged easily. There was also often problem with hot water running out. I heard that some of the apartments are renovated and should be much better.

There were several cases of small misunderstandings between me and the building manager and her service seemed to be dependent on her mood - sometimes she was friendly and helpful but few times even bluntly rude. In the end everything could always be sorted out.

I could consider living here again but mostly because of the location. Price would have to be lower or the apartment renovated though.
