Tappan Free Library

Wonderful collection of local history books, as well as a room dedicated to Tappan historical documents. Friendly, helpful staff, and lovely views from its windows. I love this place.

worst library.. they charge you for sitting in the conference room/ study room.

I'm relatively new to the area and am so happy to have such a nice town library. They have a nice selection of material and if they don't have something, the wonderful staff will request it from other libraries for you. All you have to do is ask. I also frequent their infant storytime. It's absolutely adorable and everyone is so friendly. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit.

this place is great. best library in the area (I've been to plenty others) staff is extremely kind and helpful. never an issue here. parking is the only annoying bit, highly limited spaces, but they can't control that. Tappan library making me pass school.

I love the Tappan Library! It's cozy and airy. The staff are nice. There are so many resources.

The Tappan Free Library is an amazing place. The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous! I have dealt with Sarah the library coordinator for years and she has always been there for me. Five star rating!!

Excellent staff.. always eager to help you. If the library is not carrying the book or movie you're interested in, they go out of their way to see if other libraries carry the item of interest.. and always so friendly..
