It was not a good decision to go for lunch. We took our guests from India to give them a good experience. The place is unhygienic and washrooms are horrible. Kitchen is not clean. I do not understand how they pass the food handling certification or Licence. Very poorly handles place. No space to move about. The place we were seated had so much dirt around. I have never been in a restaurant this bad in Canada.

Food was authentic Gujarati food very much enjoyed.

Only thing is the hygiene is very questionable (just look at how they handle the food and cook in very confined quarters in the open kitchen).

The owner is so cheap that in spite of decades of having a successful business, he only has 1 dingy washroom at the very back of the unit that all 10-15+ employees must share with customers. The narrow passageway to get there has so many flies and smells very bad. Had to assert that I was in line to use the washroom when a cook from the kitchen tried to butt in and use it before me.

Owner prioritizes profits over keeping his employees and customers comfortable.

Another observation is that when the lady server was serving the freshly made rotis she always served my husband first before serving me. This happened on both occasions where we were served the rotis. Like in a typical and traditional Indian household where the man must get his food served first before the woman. Not sure if this was a one-off or if this is standard practice of serving at this restaurant embodying these regressive cultural "values".

Only a 1-time visit for me will not be returning again

Been to other Indian vegetarian restaurants but this one seemed not that great. Either the served items were too sweet or too salty. They served bhaji but no pav.

The place is too small for the traffic they handle and you are suppose to pick your plates and put it out near the washroom, which seemed a bit odd.

I have had Gujarati Thali before as well but this is just too hyped..!! Not recommend at all for $20 per person.

The food was an absolute delight, with a wide variety of dishes on offer. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with just the right blend of spices and flavors. The buffet was well-stocked with fresh, piping hot food, and everything was replenished promptly.

What really set this restaurant apart was the service. The staff went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and well-attended to. They were attentive and efficient, making sure that I had everything I needed and that my experience was enjoyable.

Overall, I would highly recommend this Gujarati buffet restaurant to anyone looking for authentic home-style food with exceptional service. It's definitely a five-star experience.

We went there all the way from Windsor and our experience was not good. It was so congested that you literally have to squeezed while walking and sitting. Washroom was very dirty unfortunately it was a tasty food but other aspects was not up to the mark. We would love to visit again if conditions would have been better

Omg! This place is just the same since years..! I use to come here when I was in college and recently took my family for their thali. Lovely home cooked dishes in buffet style so you fill your thali, same old warmth n love from the gujrati aunties who bring rotti & buttermilk to the table, and the food tastes delicious!! With the open kitchen you can watch their detailed food prep and be amazed at the way they serve with such care❤️ This is home away from home :)

Ps - It can get busy so watch out for rush hour

This is an entirely women powered space. It Felt like home. They were so welcoming, sweet and always checking up on you if you need anything else. Food was amazing, worth the money and wait.
Before you go, book your table on call so that you don’t have to wait.
