TAAHRA was by far, one of the most amazing dining experiences (Thai fine-dining btw) I’ve ever had in Bangkok. From just the service once you step in, to the delivery and execution (+ explanation) of each course in detail… everything was perfect. Frankly, I’m not someone that eats oysters, but the way TAAHRA did it was so good that I had to try - and I wasn’t disappointed. Give this place a year or two (or maybe even lesser) and I’m sure it’ll blow up very soon!

Hmm, in my opinion, the food presentation was excellent, but the taste was just okay. I noticed that fried shallots were used in too many dishes, from the starters to the soups, which was a bit overwhelming. Additionally, coconut milk was used in 7-8 dishes, from starters to desserts, making everything taste too creamy and masking the natural flavors. If I were the chef, I would revise the menu to address these issues. Anyway, thank you Chef!

Every dish was excellent from start to finish. Special mentions: crab starters, Japanese scallops, sea prawn, and santol dessert. What I would like to see is more grilling and local items on the menu. Thailand is blessed with so much quality produce, and it would be good to highlight those to raise awareness about different regions.

Service is great, and the chefs took time to explain each dish. Wine pairing service was lackluster as the lady did not explain the wine as it was being placed beside us.

A michelin star is deserved if those small details are addressed.

Elevated Thai food. Every dish had an interesting backstory. Each dish had a unique flavor to it and they remind me very much of local Thai food.

The presentation of food was fantastic and my favorite was the pigeon. It was so well cooked.

I gave 3/5 stars because I love my beef and the beef I was not up to the same standard as the other dishes. It was terrible.

The beef was grilled medium rare perfectly, however this particular source and cut of the beef was tough. The chef claims all Thailand beef is that tough. He thought I was born yesterday

The caucasian chef did not interact nor smile throughout the meal too. It was as though he wasn't interested. If you don't want to smile at your guests, please be an accountant

We were really late due to BKK traffic but the Taahra team was professional in receiving us despite. Once we entered the space, they took us on an interesting dining experience which became exciting cos you knew what was coming but you never expected it to play with your memory of " that tastes familiar... "as well. They made sure to describe the dishes one by one. Huge respect for immersing all the elements into the dishes and encouraging us to decide to appreciate each one. Thank you also for making my birthday special. 😘

Perhaps I expected stronger smokier flavours in the dishes since they marketed as cooking using wood fire. While lacking in the flavour explosions which could be tweaked quickly, the execution was perfect. Every dish was perfectly cooked and presented. A little pricey overall though. But I supposed it has got to do with the small private counter dining area.

Passionate kitchen and cooking. Amazing ingredients, perfectly cooked meats, the texture and flavor of each bite was masterful. One of the best restaurants in Bangkok without question. Will be returning. 13 courses, worth the money! Only suggestion would be to have a couple of dessert wines on the menu to pair with the amazing desserts.

Dedicated team of both kitchen and service.
Duck curry and Beef were brilliant.
