We had a girls catchup at The Hyde Hotel.
The service was excellent & the waitress was friendly & polite.The food was delicious!
The Sky bar's ambience was amazing, with the mountain as a backdrop & spectacular views 😍

Discovered this place whilst searching online. The staff were very helpful, the food fantastic and the wine delicious. Well worth the visit! We parked in the hotel underground parking and used the lift to the bar space. I was so distracted that I forgot to take pictures of the food 🤣

I came to this place for drinks only. The view of the pool with the mountain is out of this world. I really enjoyed my stay here. I wish I came during daylight.

Stunning view on either side of this stunning place. The atmosphere was relaxed and tastefully furnished. We had the flat bread with Durban curry and jalapeño as well as the tempura prawns as a starter. It was really good. Never had curry on flat bread yet so that was quite a lovely surprise. We each had steaks for lunch. Requested the steak be rare which it was. I was extremely pleased with that. All in all a lovely afternoon with awesome company and good food.

Laid-back but extremely sophisticated dining experience, with stunning views of the sea point coastline. I opted for the 3-course experience which was delightful.

For starters, tempura prawn, which was well plated but unfortunately quite a small portion. For mains, calamari and chips which was absolutely delicious - no complaints. For dessert, crème brûlée - which unfortunately was disappointing. However I’m impressed with the manager who rectified the situation after bringing the dissatisfying dish to his attention.

The staff are friendly overall and the service is efficient and professional. It gets quite busy late afternoon / evening, thus expect to wait a bit longer than usual for meals to arrive. With that being said, bookings in advance are always recommended.

If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience in the heart of the city, Skye Rooftop bar and restaurant is definitely worth a visit. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel right at home.

The restaurant boasts a stunning view of the city skyline, making for the perfect backdrop to our meal. The food was simply outstanding - every dish we tried was prepared to perfection, with fresh ingredients and a creative touch that left us wanting more.

But what really set Skye apart was the service. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and always on hand to make recommendations or answer any questions we had. The attention to detail and genuine care shown by the staff (Noxy, Angela, Leonard, The Chef & Barman) made the experience truly exceptional.

Overall, we had an unforgettable evening at Skye Rooftop bar and restaurant. If you're looking for a high-end dining experience with incredible food and service, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return!
