Union City Library

Nice and friendly environment for me to do my work and study. Good Wi-Fi network, and enough seats, even some seats don’t have power plugs, but pretty good overall.

This location measures up to my basic and best expectations of a library. May make me dated, but it's nice to have physical library to go to. Yes, you can get most of what you need without a library, but when you can't, it's great to have a physical presence and the staff knowledge that only exists in a library. It's different type of person who works at a library (usually) and they have that archival knowledge that can be so helpful.

The library may be small, but it has an outdoor veranda so you can make phone calls without disturbing the peace and quiet from the inside.

Staff are sweet and knowledgeable!! They offer many options for books, lots of computers to use, tables to study at, and an awesome children's section with books, and learning toys/tools. They have a performance room as well, used for lectures, story time for kids, or seasonal crafts and fun.
There's a giant pond that houses ducks, waterfowl and some geese. The turtles are quite shy, and they reside in the pond as well. There are big fish that be seen from time to time... definitely an awesome place for all ages.

Nice place to read and spend time. My kids love this library. Staff is very friendly and super helpful and book collection is great. You can also use there print option free of cost.

Worth a visit just for the epic 1970s Architecture :) good local library, not large but with a good range of modern offerings including laptop check out, CDs, good foreign language sections and - of course - lovely librarians

It's always awesome experience here . Today my son need some research help and asked a question to librarian. Wow. She answered him for all his questions and helped to find out where and how he can get more details , how he can do online and place request and go on by him self . This is his 1st experience at this library. He used to go there when he was 3 yrs old and we used to do things for him but today he was so happy with his experience and the old lady , she is super human at this age . Very very knowledgeable and make his trip super excited. She was helping almost everyone around.
